Diaspora
The institutionalisation of the compatriots in Latvia is the major priority. At the time being around 2 thousand Azerbaijanis lives in Latvia. It is necessary to establish mutual cooperation between the Diaspora and relevant official institutions of the Republic of Latvia, to preserve and to develop the national culture, to tighten relations among compatriots, to develop their economic, social and political status, to provide dipper involvement of the Diaspora into the social and political processes of Latvia.
